The STORM 450 system is an integrated solution combining surveillance, communication, and deterrence technologies. The system utilises an environmentally sealed, rugged pan/tilt positioner and comes with colour camera, a long range acoustic device, and a 1000mW high power non-lethal laser dazzler.

 

The STORM 450 system has been developed to address the requirements of vehicles employed in crowd control or awareness scenarios. It provides 360° degree directional viewing, with a high performance colour CCD camera. By deploying a long range verbal communication and a non- lethal laser dazzler, the unit allows the user to choose between illumination, hail/warning, and suppression/deterrence operations. The system is operated via IP controller with a video display, using the experience of non-lethal operational users, there is an exhaustive list of possible applications for the unit.
